A lifelong learner, Dr. Jordan used her early degrees in education and educational administration to learn concepts, break them down for any audience, and teach them in fun, creative, and understandable ways. As she transitioned careers, she chose a profession that would let her keep learning and empower others to own that knowledge. Pairing her teaching ability with a root-cause approach to wellness, she feels she has found her true calling.
Early in Dr. Jordan’s life, she experienced a severe reaction to a medication, which led her to pursue chiropractic care and a more holistic lifestyle. During that period, her father was diagnosed with what doctors described as an incurable GI disease; clinicians said lifestyle changes would not reverse it. Refusing to accept that answer, Dr. Jordan pursued functional medicine, which helped restore his health and inspired her to focus on finding root causes for other patients.
When Dr. Jordan isn’t working with functional wellness cases, she enjoys time with her family. She and her husband, Chris—who serves and honors our country in the U.S. Navy—have two daughters. Dr. Jordan volunteers at the Navy Reserve Center Atlanta as an Ombudsman, serving as a point of contact for military spouses seeking guidance.
She is active in her daughters’ elementary school, enjoys traveling with her family, and loves sharing time, laughing, singing, and dancing. In her free time, she also scrapbooks family adventures and crochets a variety of handmade creations.
